Weddings and Events Policies
- The elopement package (bride and groom only) does not require an overnight stay. You will have private use of the pergola for one hour, or you may relax in our public parlor for up to one hour after your ceremony. Your ceremony can be scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Small weddings (versus elopements) with up to 30 guests require a one-night stay for the bride & groom (but there is a standard two-night-stay requirement for weekends). You will have private use of the pergola and courtyard for two hours and are granted use of our parlor post ceremony (total time not to exceed two hours). Your ceremony can be scheduled anytime from noon to 3:00 p.m. For full-inn bookings, your ceremony can be held at any time.
- Wedding guests are allowed to arrive 30 minutes prior to wedding ceremony.
- The property must be restored to pre-event condition immediately upon conclusion of the event.
- No credit will be given for deviation from package products
- 5 % Event Staff Gratuity will be added to all wedding packages at the time of booking. Our staff goes above and beyond to make your event most memorable moments in your life.
- A 50% nonrefundable deposit is due at time of booking all wedding packages. Date changes are permitted, but only with forfeit of original deposit and a second nonrefundable deposit to book the new date.
Things To Know in Advance
- A valid Florida Marriage License is required to be married at the inn
- Parking is available for guests staying at the inn only. All other guests must use street parking or paid metered parking.
- Parking is not available on site. We can accommodate one vehicle per rented room. We are happy to arrange for chauffeur vans to transport your guests to and from the parking garage (price dependent on the number of guests in need of said service).
- Our parking lot can accommodate 1 (one) vehicle per rented room.
- If you have not rented the entire inn for your wedding, the inn is only available to your wedding guests (that are not already overnight guests) by advance reservation only at an additional charge. Please call 904-824-3555 for details.
- If your package includes a carriage ride, it is the standard carriage ride, not the wedding carriage. Your photographer will not be permitted to walk beside the carriage during your ride for photos. If you wish for the carriage to include wedding decor and/or to have your photographer accompany beside the carriage for photos, you must make this request as far in advance as possible to ensure availability and there may be an extra charge.
