Vernardo Circus comes to St Augustine Winter 2018

Circus lightsCalling children of all ages – the Venardos Circus arrives in St. Augustine January 24, 2018! Look for their classic red and white Big Top at the St. Augustine Amphitheater and get ready to enjoy the “future of the American Circus… keeping that tradition of fun alive.” That tradition dates back over two and a half centuries, and “The Little Circus That Could” has reinvented it for the 21st century. Former Ringling Brothers Ringmaster Kevin Venardos brings acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, dare devils, comedians, circus act performers from around the world, to entertain you as part of the Circus’s nationwide tour.

They call it the Big Top, but all 300 seats in the tent are close to the continuous action. As a bonus, you are invited to meet the cast, take photos, and play games during an interactive hour-long pre-show party. Then the ringmaster enters the ring to begin the main event – an hour and a half of world-class circus acts presented in the style that combines Broadway musicals with Cirque de Soleil. You can visit the Vernardo Circus Facebook page for more information and a video about their coming performance here in Saint Augustine.

The St. Augustine Amphitheater is just 2.5 miles away from Casa de Solana, so if your plans include a getaway to our historic city this winter, don’t wait give us a call and reserve your room with us, and make seeing this new kind of circus part of your Florida vacation.
