30 Jun Sing Out Loud Festival 2019: Free Music Concerts in St Augustine FL
The Sing Out Loud Festival, largest free live entertainment festival in Florida, will be held weekends from September 6-29, 2019, in St. Augustine. Hundreds of free music concerts are scheduled Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This world-class music festival brings together an exciting variety of Grammy award-winners, nationally-known musicians, singers, songwriters, comedians and poets, plus rising regional performers. Performances are held at venues across St. Augustine, including The Amp and the Colonial Oak Music Park. Since this St. Augustine music festival’s founding in 2016, it has welcomed over 900 performing artists and 500,000 fans to its free concerts.
In addition to country music star Kacey Musgraves, some of the headlining artists for 2019 include St. Paul & the Broken Bones (retro soul), Jenny Lewis (indie pop), Kurt Vile and the Violators (lo-fi guitar), Shovels & Rope (Americana), and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band (New Orleans brass). Musical genres at the Festival will range from punk rock to rap, beach goth to bluegrass, and more. The Festival kicks off Friday, September 6, 2019, with Dave Hause & The Mermaid and Raye Zaragoza. This year’s one benefit concert starring Kacey Musgraves with special guest Weyes Blood will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Proceeds from this benefit will go to the Horseplay Therapy Center and Green Hands Community Outreach Initiatives.
